Pedal 4 Kids Community Ride is the largest bike event in the Lowcountry with 100% of its proceeds benefiting the club members of the Boys & Girls Club of Hilton Head Island. Now, in its 6th year, the Pedal 4 Kids Community Ride attracts nearly 400 bicyclists, of all ages and skills levels. The event gives residents and guests of the Island an opportunity to join their friends, family, co-workers, associates and neighbors in a group ride throughout the island’s beautiful pathways and parks.

The Kickin' Asphalt Bicycle Club is a proud partner for this event. Pedal 4 Kids is one of the many reasons Kickin' Asphalt was voted "Best Bicycle Club in the Southeast." The local bicycle club earned this title because of its membership growth, community involvement and use of the League of American Bicyclists services.

Pedal 4 Kids charity biking event and how it brings the Lowcountry community together is one of the reasons the League of American Bicyclists awarded Hilton Head Island certification as a "Bicycling Friendly Community"  at the silver level.  Hilton Head Island is one of only three communities on the eastern US shores recognized at this level.

Make plans for Saturday, September 29, 2012 for another great day of cycling. Gather your friends, family and/or associates and plan on riding as a team.

Pedal 4 Kids offer its participants to pick from a 40-mile route, a 20/25 mile route, a 10-mile route or the Family Fun Ride. Since 2007, Pedal 4 Kids has been a wonderful way for hundreds of bicyclists to join together to support our community's children. Bike & Helmet Rentals are available for $10 by calling Hilton Head Bicycle Company @ 843-686-6888 (will deliver and pick up at Hilton Head High School on day of the event).  All proceeds will benefit BGC HHI.
